Event Specialist (Performance Marketing) to help build the event strategy and execute cutting edge events that set IBM apart from the competition.

Responsibilities

Driving demand by creating customer experiences that surprise and delights and engages, builds the brand and extends our reach through content marketing and digital technology.
Partnering with cross functional teams to develop content, messaging and surround sound elements (digital, social) for the key events.
Analyzing event leads and follow-up programs, constantly testing new ways to drive more leads and more conversions.
Applying analytics and insights to better understand attendees, their behaviors & interests, and improve engagement -- driving the continual optimization of future events, strategies, and plans.
Establishing and managing budgets to maximize return on marketing investment by optimizing efforts through iteration and experimentation.
Working with agency parties to identify leading events in the market and identify new and unique ways to reach professions.
Understanding and complying with the IBM Global Event process and tools including Event Solution Tool (EST), Global Registration Portal (GRP), Event Import Tool (EIT), CTEBA, etc.
  • 2 to 3 years experience in an event execution role or customer face to face role
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills: experience working across multiple organization, executive leadership, and external agencies to manage event strategy
  • Fluent English
